What makes a certified service dog different from general obedience training?
A well-trained dog is one thing. A certified service dog is trained to perform tasks for a disability, this requires more comprehensive training with regard to specific support tasks. Service dogs can remain calm and undistracted in any situation. They’re also certified, meaning they can accompany their handlers anywhere, including settings where traditional pets aren’t allowed.
